1. Grab the readers attention. Many net surfers will simply if their back button if the article is boring same old same old.  Or as they say in asia "SameSame"   There are words that turn people on, and words that turn people off.   Be positive.

2. Let the reader get your points and come up with NEW information.  Don't rehash the stuff that's already out there.  Be original and authentic. 

3. If you can't spell, use a spell checker.  Just 'one' mispelled werd sends an unconscious signal to the X article reader astray.   keep the reader's interest by being clear and consise with your X Article.  Magic Formulas, sure, get rich quick sure, just don't be sloppy about it.

4. Cut down your original text by cutting out the BS.  Go over each sentence in your X Article and rework it a few times.   This works wonders and creates a greater understanding in the reader.

5. Use common sense.   Don't exaggerate!  period.   Every living human being can smell exaggeration in an Article.

6. Send a couple of copies to your friends or professional Article writers for edit, comments and review.  Take all the comments they have with interest and attention.  There may be something to your Article writing skills. 

7.  Heading and tags are important.  Your heading MUST standout and gather attention and interest from your readers.  Keep the text in tune with your heading or taglines.

8.  Nobody likes long paragraphs.   Keep them to 5 to ten lines.  It breaks up the space and makes the Article easier to read.

9.  Whether you are offering a service or just putting out some information related to the article topic, do some research.  Don't write blindly -- that is, take a look around the internet and do research on your subject.

10.  Write from yourself.  Don't cut and paste different articles from the internet to create your own.  Sure you can use other articles as reference, but don't take anything verbatum.

11.  Add pictures to your articles...they are a nice break, and sometimes even a video embedded into and article is a nice touch.
